Teams that will go against the Los Angeles Rams must benefit from a mercy rule when they take the field.
The team is too good on both sides of the ball.
Aside from locking in Matthew Stafford to an extension, the Rams added Allen Robinson to line up with Van Jefferson and Cooper Kupp.
Andrew Whitworth‘s retirement could be a heavy blow, but general manager Les Snead will have a contingency plan.
While their offense remains one of the league’s best, the Rams’ defense should bring nightmares to opposing teams.
Even without Von Miller, who signed with the Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles’ unit is downright scary.
They have great complementary players like Jordan Fuller, Taylor Rapp, A’Shawn Robinson, and Leonard Floyd.
However, their core is a collection of elite talent, as shared by the NFL on CBS Twitter account.
nah this is ridiculous
Defensive First-Team All-Pro Selections Since 2016:
Aaron Donald 6 (Most in NFL)
Bobby Wagner 5 (2nd most in NFL)
Jalen Ramsey 3 (t-3rd most in NFL) pic.twitter.com/PFlLrw3CcD— NFL on CBS 🏈 (@NFLonCBS) March 31, 2022
They pointed out that the trio of Jalen Ramsey, Aaron Donald, and newly-added Bobby Wagner have the most Defensive First-Team All-Pro selections since 2016.
The three-time Defensive Player of the Year has the most with six, while Wagner is second with five.
Ramsey is tied for third-most with three.
The Rams Defense Will Stampede Through The Opposition
These defensive gems will lead the Rams in shutting down the other team.
Donald will bring the pressure from the line of scrimmage, Wagner takes care of the middle zones, and Ramsey will make it challenging for the other team’s top receiver to complete a catch.
Having Wagner will help them dominate the NFC West again, which is difficult considering that the San Francisco 49ers and the Arizona Cardinals made the playoffs.
However, his leadership and work ethic will rub off on his teammates in a good way.
More importantly, he can get payback from the Seattle Seahawks twice.
