The National Football League will be without one of the best defensive players of all time.
Los Angeles Rams superstar DT Aaron Donald has announced his retirement after 10 incredible seasons.
He’ll go down as one of the greatest to ever do it.
As a matter of fact, Buffalo Bills star WR Stefon Diggs believes he’s the absolute greatest player when it comes to defense.

Some purists and old-school fans will most likely disagree, though, as Lawrence Taylor has held that distinction for many years.
Whatever the case, he should at least be on the Mt. Rushmore of legendary defenders.
Despite not being a highly-recruited player, Donald was able to make a huge impact right away, becoming a Pro Bowler in each and every single one of his seasons.
Donald capped off his dominant career with the only thing he needed to complete football.
He was instrumental in their Super Bowl run a few years ago.
He struggled with injuries the following campaign, but he refused to give up, and he came back stronger than ever.
Clearly, he wanted to ride into the sunset on his own terms and retire when he felt like it, not because of an injury.
Needless to say, Sean McVay is going to have a tough time replacing him.
