Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs has a very good chance of winning Rookie of the Year at the end of this season.
He is posting an amazing statline right now, averaging 20.7 points, 10.3 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 3.4 blocks, and 1.3 steals per game.
This is impressing fans all over the world, and players within the league.
Speaking to Taylor Rooks, via Bleacher Report, Orlando Magic star and reigning Rookie of the Year Paolo Banchero spoke about what Wembanyama needs to know about winning that prize.
“He has to reach a new level,” Banchero stated, saying that if Wembanyama wins Rookie of the Year, this will only be beginning for the young star.
Wemby's rookie stats this season are ridiculous.

Banchero said that Wembanyama will not rest after winning Rookie of the Year.
Instead, he will find motivation inside himself to get even better next year and in the seasons after that.
Banchero believes that Wembanyama can do it because he has shown a ton of progress already.
When the season got started, it was clear that the Spurs star was adjusting to playing in the NBA and there were a few growing pains as he found his footing.
But he has been electric for months now, especially recently.
Wembanyama is very comfortable on the floor and has also become more sensational and fun to watch.
Banchero knows the pressures that come with winning Rookie of the Year.
He experienced them last year when claiming that prize but has gotten better since then.
He is posting 22.9 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game and has helped the Magic climb up to the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference.
