The Phoenix Suns now have a 5-1 record and are, once again, one of the best teams in the league and in the Western Conference.
There are many reasons for this, from head coach Monty Williams‘ expert skills to the strength of the team’s deep bench.
Of course, attention must also be paid to Devin Booker, one of the team’s best and brightest players.

Booker, who is in the MVP conversation after just a couple of weeks, celebrated his 26th birthday over the weekend.
The man has already had an incredible NBA career at such a young age.
That means that fans still have many years of Booker and his abilities to look forward to.
Booker’s Birthday
Booker might be starting his best season yet.
The man’s career average, so far, is 23.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 4.7 assists a game.
However, he is putting up 29.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 5.5 assists so far for 2022-23.
Booker is playing with more fire in his belly than ever before and has enhanced his skills, his speed, and his on-court vision.
Because of this, he is one of the names being tossed around as a possible MVP for the new season.
Of course, competition won’t go easy on Booker.
Other players, such as Jayson Tatum, Ja Morant, and Booker’s old nemesis Luka Doncic, will also be trying to win the coveted trophy for the first time.
But no one should count Booker out.
The big question is how far his Suns will be able to go.
They have done well in the regular season for the last few years but their playoff output has been disappointing.
Still, Booker is so young that he has plenty of time to get to the playoffs again and again throughout his career.
