The Denver Broncos lost their second consecutive game and fell to 2-3.
Worst yet, they generated just nine points through four quarters and overtime.
They manifested their struggles in red zone scoring yet again.
The Indianapolis Colts didn’t do much in their Week 5 Thursday Night Football encounter, but they did enough to win.
So much for the Broncos being a high-powered offense with Russell Wilson‘s addition.
Football fans and experts thought he would be the missing piece to a talented yet underperforming unit that has Melvin Gordon, Jerry Jeudy, and Courtland Sutton.
Unfortunately, the opposite result has happened, and Good Morning Football host Kyle Brandt took notice, especially of their last play.

“This is going places really fast. The last play is meaningful not in just that it was K.J. Hamler or not that he missed. It’s the reaction afterward from Hamler. It’s spiking the helmet, that, I don’t know, when did Russell Wilson turn into Mitch Trubisky? But, I wish he would turn into Geno Smith so they can win a game,” Brandt said.
Hamler was open as he dashed to the end zone in their final play of the game.
However, Wilson forced the ball to Sutton, and Stephon Gilmore deflected the pass.
Wilson finished the game with 21 completions for 274 yards and two interceptions.
Broncos Struggle To Score
Their loss to Indianapolis is the first time this season they went below ten points.
However, they haven’t done fairly well in their previous games.
They scored 16 points in their win against the Houston Texans and 11 in their victory over the San Francisco 49ers.
The Broncos also put up 16 in their defeat to the Seattle Seahawks.
Denver is ranked 31st in scoring, averaging 15 points per game.
