Hamlin’s brain function seems to be recovering back to normal levels.
It is being reported that he opened his eyes last night, and has been squeezing the hands of his loved ones as well.
With the rest of the season looming for the Bills, hopefully, the players can find comfort in the fact that their teammate is doing better, showing vast improvements.
Hamlin has a long road to recovery, but his positive strides are certainly something of note, and holding on to any sort of hope for his teammates is paramount to their success in the coming weeks.
With the update to Hamlin’s health, let’s also take a look at updated totals of donations to the charity that Hamlin has supported in the past.
When he was in college, Hamlin started a GoFundMe page for a charity that helps donate toys and other items to children in need.
As of noon EST, the total amount raised on the GoFundMe has eclipsed the seven million dollar mark and is growing by the second.
Many notable names across the NFL community have donated to this charitable cause, including Tom Brady, Robert Kraft, Andy Dalton, and Jim Irsay, among many others.
Hamlin has inspired notable change around the world, and with donations continuously coming in, it’s safe to say that the children of Pittsburgh will be receiving lots of gifts.
