As Hurricane Ian continues to wreak havoc on Florida, several sporting events have been impacted.
Of course, all of that takes a back seat when concerning what the people living in Florida and dealing with this dangerous storm are going through at the moment.
People have had to evacuate their homes and find refuge elsewhere.
The storm isn’t even stopping there.
It appears as if it’s headed up north here soon.
As we all know, Mike Trout is a weather fanatic, and when he’s not on the field for the Los Angeles Angels, he’s obsessed with the weather.
On Twitter, Trout acknowledged that while weather is fascinating for him, it can also cause great devastation.
And so, he sent well wishes to those impacted by Hurricane Ian.
As most of you guys know I’m obsessed with the weather. As fascinating as it is, it can be just as devastating. This storm is intense, and I’m praying all my east coast friends are staying safe out there. https://t.co/6Rcuv9LQ9P

Trout Sends Well Wishes
We’ve talked about it before, but it’s worth bringing up again.
Trout truly is one of the best people in the league.
His talent on the field is one thing, but off the field, he truly is a kindhearted person who cares about fans and friends.
As somebody who follows the weather very closely, he understands that Hurricane Ian is a dangerous storm and has caused much destruction in Florida already.
Obviously, more is expected, so Trout made sure to wish his friends on the east coast well.
In terms of baseball, the series between the Baltimore Orioles and New York Yankees could be impacted.
The same could be said for the series between the New York Mets and Atlanta Braves.
We all love baseball and enjoy seeing the best players in the business do their thing, but as Trout alluded to, it’s important that we keep those impacted by the storm in our thoughts and prayers.
