At this point, we all know what Shohei Ohtani is capable of.
He’s a two-way star, something the game of baseball has not seen since the likes of The Great Bambino himself, Babe Ruth, meaning he can pitch and hit at a high level.
The Los Angeles Angels are lucky enough to have him and Mike Trout on the same roster, even if it won’t save them from yet another losing season this year.
In just a few short years, Ohtani has accomplished a ton, including the AL Rookie of the Year Award in 2018 and the AL MVP Award last season.
Those are just two of the historic feats he’s accomplished in his five years in the big leagues.
Feats for the @Angels' Shohei Ohtani since making his MLB debut:
– Rookie of the Year
– hit for cycle
– 45-HR/25-SB season
– led league in triples
– unanimous MVP
– 200-K season
– 15-win seasonNo other player in MLB history has accomplished even half of those in his career.

Ohtani Is A Man Of Many Talents
The list also includes a 15-win season as a pitcher, a 200-strikeout season, a 45 homer/25 double season at the plate, leading the league in triples, and hitting for the cycle.
No player in baseball history has even accomplished half of what Ohtani has been able to accomplish in just a few short years.
Ohtani might just be the best and most dynamic player in all of baseball today.
He’s the first to hit and pitch at the same time since Babe Ruth and he can dominate on both sides of the ball.
This is the kind of player you want to start your team with if you’re building one from the ground up.
It’s basically a two for one.
You’d get an ace pitcher and one of the best hitters of all time, who has already accomplished a great deal in such a short amount of time.
He’s simply an electric ballplayer and has so much to offer a team.
