Harrison Bader Had Busch Stadium Rocking With A Special Feat

Despite their 5-3 loss to the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday night, the St. Louis Cardinals and their fans still had a little something to cheer about, courtesy of speedster Harrison Bader.

The team was trailing 5-0 in the bottom of the sixth with nobody out and Yadier Molina on second base.

But Bader did something that lit a fire under the team and the crowd, taking an 0-2 pitch from Orioles’ starter Kyle Bradish out to left center that caromed and got away, allowing not only Molina to score, but Bader to come all the way around for an inside the parker.

A video in the tweet below courtesy of MLB, shows how Bader almost passed Molina in his mad dash.

An Exhilarating Moment

What a way to energize the crowd.

The Cardinals’ bats had been quiet all night and for the past few games.

Here, Bader got the crowd back into the game and breathed some life into the dugout.

But what a crazy run by Bader to get St. Louis on the board.

This man is easily one of the fastest players in all of baseball and hustled his way out of the batter’s box as he made it all the way around the diamond.

But how about some recognition for the wheels of Molina?

Bader literally almost lapped him, but Molina was chugging all the way from second base.

Of course, he had to make sure that ball got down, but when it did, he had to turn on the jets and make sure Bader didn’t pass him.

But it all worked out and Bader accomplished something a Cardinals player never has at Busch Stadium III.
