2 Former Star NFL RBs Facing Off In The Boxing Ring

Adrian Peterson and Le’Veon Bell dominated the opposition during their heyday in the NFL.

Peterson is one of the few running backs who had a 2,000-yard season.

He was also the league’s Most Valuable Player and Offensive Player of the Year in 2012.

The Oklahoma alumnus also has seven All-Pro and seven Pro Bowl selections to his name.

The seventh overall pick in the 2007 NFL Draft still has what it takes to play in the league after suiting up for the Tennessee Titans and Seattle Seahawks last season.

Meanwhile, Bell had three 1,000-yard seasons in four years.

He is also a four-time All-Pro and a three-time Pro Bowler.

But during their careers, it’s impossible to see them on the same time on the field.

However, they will finally get to see each other, not on the gridiron but in the boxing ring.

ESPN Ringside tweeted, “Adrian Peterson and Le’Veon Bell have signed contracts for a heavyweight boxing exhibition on July 30 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, sources tell @MikeCoppinger.”

They will meet on the undercard of Social Gloves 2 wherein YouTube personality Austin McBroom will face fellow online sensation AnEsonGib.

It will be fascinating how Peterson versus Bell will turn out, especially now that they are not breaking tackles.

Who Will Win The Peterson Versus Bell Showdown?

Both athletes have taken care of their bodies and they will have the stamina to finish the exhibition match.

Therefore, it’s hard to determine the fighter that will have an edge coming into this contest.

But given that they have given their all on the football field, they are training hard for this match even if it is an undercard.

It’s impossible for them to make a career out of it given their age.

However, who could turn down a nice payday while getting an intense workout?
