On Thursday, MLB Now counted down the top-10 third baseman in all of baseball right now.
To nobody’s surprise, Nolan Arenado was on the list.
However, to the surprise of many around the game, and much to the dismay of St. Louis Cardinals fans, the veteran third baseman came in at No. 5 on the list.
Ahead of him were players such as Manny Machado, Austin Riley, Rafael Devers, and Jose Ramirez.
Cardinals fans have not hesitated to share their discontent with the situation.
On Twitter, one fan reacted to the snub and voiced his displeasure with MLB Network for their rankings.
Dont you dare disrespect Nolan Arenado like that

This is quite a shocking snub when considering that Arenado was in the top three in the voting for the National League MVP Award.
The award was ultimately won by his Cardinals teammate in Paul Goldschmidt, with Machado finishing in second.
Arenado hit .293 with 30 home runs and 103 RBI during the regular season and was certainly deserving of the award.
At the very least, he earned the right to be in the conversation for the award.
The good thing is that Arenado is still in the top 10 here.
But Cardinals fans are not happy with where he was ranked by MLB Network, and rightfully so.
Fans feel that their star third baseman was disrespected by those who made the list.
Below Arenado on the list are Alex Bregman, Justin Turner, Max Muncy, Yandy Diaz, and D.J. LeMahieu.
Goldschmidt was ranked as the top first baseman, but Arenado was not shown such respect.
