It isn’t easy playing against NBA superstars, just ask this poor young athlete who got a face full of Bam Adebayo of the Miami Heat.
Adebayo was playing alongside Donovan Mitchell, currently of the Utah Jazz, in a pro-am league game recently.
The game featured a slew of young, unsigned players of course.
But that didn’t stop Adebayo from treating the game just like it was a regular NBA match.
Damn @Bam1of1 😂😂 https://t.co/2rIXhDqxj0

One unfortunate player was smashed by a screen from the 6-foot-9 Adebayo.
The young dude didn’t stand a chance and was quickly left on his backside.
Mitchell noticed the play, posting it on Twitter with the simple comment: “Damn @Bam1of1.”
The player who got laid out probably didn’t think so but Adebayo and Mitchell together was something exciting and special.
Mitchell In Miami
There have been rumors that the Heat wanted to land Mitchell, who is reportedly the target of many teams looking to trade with the Jazz.
However, we haven’t seen any movement related to Mitchell in Miami.
In fact, the New York Knicks seem to be the franchise that keeps attempting to make a trade with Utah happen.
Still, this pro-am game showed that Mitchell with Adebayo would be quite an impressive pairing.
Both of these guys are some of the best in their positions so it’s no surprise that they worked so well as a unit.
However, it seems increasingly unlikely that they will be playing together outside of pro-am games.
Speaking of, these pro-am matches have been one of the coolest parts of this year’s offseason, with everyone from LeBron James to Kyrie Irving and DeMar DeRozan participating in them.
