The Miami Heat are the seventh-best team in the Eastern Conference right now, which means they will likely be battling in the Play-In Tournament in a few weeks.
Do they have what it takes to impress the entire league like they did last season and go all the way to the NBA Finals again?
If that’s going to happen, it’ll partly be because of Terry Rozier, according to Jamal Crawford.
Speaking on NBA TV, Crawford stated that Rozier is going to be a pivotal part of the postseason plans.
“They needed Scary Terry, especially for the playoffs,” he said, before adding that Rozier “can be somebody who can take over the offense, but he can also play with Jimmy and Bam.”

Crawford noted that the Heat lost some of the great shooters they had last year during their surprisingly strong postseason run.
Both Gabe Vincent and Max Strus left the team for the Los Angeles Lakers and Cleveland Cavaliers, for example.
Rozier will fill the void they left while also building a stronger chemistry with Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo, according to Crawford.
The guard has been in Miami for several months and has averaged 15.5 points,4.5 rebounds, and 5.1 assists during that time.
That may be a bit of a step down from what he was producing with the Charlotte Hornets before that but he’s still been very helpful for Miami and he could be a key part of any postseason success that they find.
Just like last season, some people have written the Heat off and don’t think they have what it takes to make it far in the playoffs.
But the team has repeatedly proven that they are not to be counted out, especially after the regular season has concluded.
With Rozier on their side, they are prepared to prove it again.
