For years, Tyreek Hill was one of the most disruptive forces in the National Football League.
His combination of unmatched speed, route-running, and reliable hands made him one of Patrick Mahomes’ favorite targets, putting up video game-like numbers week in and week out.
So, it was only natural to see that some people doubted the Chiefs’ ability to be at their best after trading him to the Miami Dolphins, regardless of Mahomes’ greatness.
Fast forward to today, and the Chiefs are back in the Super Bowl sans Hill, and he replicated his usual production with Tua Tagovailoa as his QB, so it’s evident that they were both great, and neither was a product of the other.
But it seems like the relationship between both parties has turned quite complicated, as Hill has repeatedly claimed that he wasn’t involved enough in the offense as he could’ve and should’ve been.
That’s why HC Andy Reid took some time to address that situation, putting an end to all the chatter with a rather blunt and straight-forward statement:
“No one is happier for Tyreek than I am. He made a lot of money and gained a lot of yards,” Reid said.

Hill indeed made plenty of cash and left his mark during his days with the Chiefs, but all good things eventually have to come to an end.
He’s now wreaking havoc with Jaylen Waddle as the centerpiece of one of the league’s most explosive offenses, and he’s not coming back to Kansas, at least for the time being.
So, maybe it’s time we just put this topic to rest and let both parties move on from each other.
