After a one-day delay thanks to rainy conditions in the Bronx, the New York Yankees will play host to the Cleveland Guardians in Game 2 of the ALDS today with a chance to move within one win of their first ALCS since 2019.
After their Game 1 win on Tuesday, rain came through the Bronx and postponed Game 2.
Nestor Cortes will get the start for the Yankees, while the Guardians send Shane Bieber to the mound.
The Yankees posted a nice little hype video featuring highlights from their Game 1 victory this morning to get fans pumped up for Game 2 and an opportunity to take a 2-0 series lead into Cleveland tomorrow.

Yanks Set For Game 2
Game 1 was everything the Yankees and their fans could have asked for on Tuesday.
Gerrit Cole worked around early trouble and managed to give the Yankees 6.1 innings of one-run ball.
Harrison Bader and Anthony Rizzo paced the offense, with each of them hitting a home run in Game 1.
Game 2 of the series now beckons, and the Yankees have a tall task on their hands with Bieber taking the mound for the Guardians.
But the Yankees still hold home-field advantage in the series and have Cortes on the mound with a chance to take command of the series and put the Guardians on the ropes.
Game 2 should be an exciting pitching matchup.
Cortes went 12-4 with a 2.44 ERA in 28 starts this season, while Bieber went 13-8 with a 2.88 ERA in 31 starts.
Yankees fans will be ready to go this afternoon as they file into Yankee Stadium, hoping that the team can win today and put themselves one win shy of the ALCS.
We’ll see how the game ultimately plays out.
