Let’s be honest for a second here: Most NBA players flop, and they usually get rewarded for that.
It’s just a matter of knowing how, when, and where to flop, and it’s been like that for a long time.
That’s why Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr made a plea for the league to stop rewarding all the flopping and start punishing it instead, citing that the Los Angeles Lakers have done an outstanding job at selling their flops to the officials.
Unsurprisingly, that didn’t sit well with the Lakers, coach Darvin Ham, or LeBron James, who went as far as to say that flopping has never been a part of his team’s game.
Notably, it seems like JaMychal Green didn’t buy James’ story, so he took to Instagram to “call cap” on his words, once again stirring the pot ahead of a must-win game.

Truth be told, James has been in the spotlight for flopping multiple times, and most of the time, it’s been as blatant as it’s been hilarious.
Flopping is an unfortunate part of the game, and the players will have no incentive to stop until they start getting penalized for it.
However, to say that the Lakers are leading the series because all of the flops might be an entirely different discussion, so we’ll leave that one to Kerr and LeBron.
