After the Los Angeles Lakers failed to eliminate the defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night at the Chase Center, LeBron James and company will head back to Crypto.com Arena for Game 6, hoping to end the series and advance to the Western Conference Finals.
Despite the loss in Game 5, the Lakers are still in complete control of this series, with the Warriors needing to win the next two games to advance.
However, the pressure will be on for the Lakers, as the last thing the team wants to do is to go back to San Francisco for Game 7.
With the Lakers missing the opportunity to end the Warriors’ title defense, Joy Taylor of Fox Sports believes there’s added pressure on James, but he’s been in this situation so many times in the past.

One primary concern for the Lakers heading into Game 6 in Los Angeles is the health of perennial All-Star Anthony Davis.
Davis went down in Game 5 following an elbow to the head from Kevon Looney, which resulted in the superstar forward looking dazed and being forced to miss the rest of the game while he was evaluated for what many believed was a concussion.
Fortunately for Los Angeles, Davis is expected to play in Game 6, which is a huge relief for the storied NBA franchise, but there’s no telling what version of the superstar they’ll get on Friday night.
Game 6 of this second-round series will be must-see TV, with neither of these teams ready to end their season.
