The Golden State Warriors have been among the most successful NBA teams over the past decade.
This team has been consistently solid, a threat to make a deep postseason run every season that their top players are healthy.
Steph Curry is still making his presence known for this team, and he’s a big reason why the Warriors are still relevant and have a record over .500.
However, even the best shooter in league history can have bad nights, and he had just two points in the Warriors’ recent loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on December 19th.
This wasn’t the only disappointing metric of the night, as the Warriors on NBCS pointed out on X.
By losing to the Grizzlies by 51 points, the Warriors put up one of their worst road losses in franchise history.

They weren’t able to get much going, for whatever reason, and put themselves in the record books for a bad reason as a result.
Thankfully, this is just one game, and one game doesn’t derail a team’s season, especially at this point of the year.
However, this did show that the Warriors are capable of losing in blowout fashion, something that wasn’t the case earlier in Curry’s career, especially when he had Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Kevin Durant around him.
By being exposed like this, the Warriors let the rest of the league know that they are susceptible to getting blown out, even to teams like the Grizzlies, who aren’t known as having one of the most potent offenses.
