The Golden State Warriors aren’t having a very hard time handling the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the playoffs.
They sailed past their opponents in a big 126-106 win on Monday and the series now stands at 2-0.
That means the Warriors are well on their way to making the second round of the postseason.
They’ll definitely get there if they keep performing like they did Monday night.

In just twenty minutes, the Warriors scored an incredible 70 points.
There aren’t many words to describe that sort of accomplishment.
Well, one word sums it up: wow.
Warriors On A Run
The Warriors are playing exactly like they need to right now.
Even without Stephen Curry starting (he is still getting up to 100% from his injury), the team is playing some lights-out basketball and shutting down the Nuggets all over the court.
Not even the raw power of Nikola Jokic can slow the Warriors down.
In fact, they have made the reigning MVP a non-factor on the floor.
However, things won’t always stay this easy.
If they make the second round, Golden State will have to face off against either the Minnesota Timberwolves or Memphis Grizzlies.
Both of those teams are faster, younger, and harder to defend.
Of course, there are other teams down the pipeline who could throw a monkey wrench in Golden State’s plans.
Don’t expect the playoffs to be a total breeze from beginning to end for the Warriors – they have a rough road ahead.
However, they are starting things off in the right way and are looking like the title contenders they say they are.
For now, things are looking very bright for the Warriors.
