Randy Moss is one of the most influential wide receivers in NFL history.
Countless players have tried to emulate his game, as he is viewed as one of the best to ever play the position.
He meant so much to young players who were growing up and trying to learn the game, and his reach has extended far beyond the Minnesota Vikings fanbase.
Moss has continued impacting the football world through various media outlets, becoming a beloved on-air figure.
Unfortunately, Moss has stepped away from his post for the time being, as it was recently revealed that he’s battling cancer.
He has received countless social media posts and support from fans, including Justin Jefferson, who made sure to highlight him during Monday Night Football.
Jefferson caught the first touchdown of the game, an eventual rout of the Chicago Bears, and was caught on camera saying, “We love you Randy. That’s for you.”

The young Vikings wideout has made quite the impact of his own, breaking a lot of Moss’ records in the first several years of his career.
Jefferson looks up to Moss as a mentor and tries his best to play like him, a strategy that has worked out well thus far.
Moss put in a lot more time on the field than Jefferson has to this point, but if he keeps this pace up, more records will be broken in the future.
For now, Jefferson and his teammates aren’t focused on their own stats, rather, to think about the greater good, supporting Moss and each other during this difficult time.
