The NFL community has finally gotten some clarity on Randy Moss’s situation.
The legendary wide receiver took to Instagram to reveal the condition he had been battling with over the past couple of weeks.
Moss claimed that he’s currently battling cancer, which is why he took a leave of absence from ESPN’s NFL pregame show, “Sunday Countdown.”
With that in mind, the crew honored him by sharing words of love for their teammate and NFL legend.
Some of them wore purple and even urged the fans to visit his website to support him.

Moss made the rounds earlier in the month when he urged the fans to keep him in their prayers.
Moss revealed that the cancer had been found in the bile duct “right between the pancreas and the liver,” adding that he’s already undergone successful surgery to remove it from his body.
Moss and his family decided to keep his illness under wraps for weeks, and while that led to some speculation, it was also his right.
His son, Thaddeus, called out several reporters trying to break the news.
All that matters is that the legendary wide receiver recovers from this unfortunate situation.
Hopefully, it won’t be long before we see him back on set, and he’ll live a long and healthy life after surviving this major health scare.
We can’t wait to have him back.
