With just three draft picks remaining for 2025, the Vikings got creative, structuring the deal around a pick swap for 2026.

Robinson emerged as a logical target for Minnesota’s front office.
Currently in the final stretch of a three-year, $54 million contract, he’s set to enter free agency after 2024.
The Vikings see Robinson as a clear upgrade over David Quessenberry as they gear up for a playoff push.
Currently ranked as the NFL’s 32nd-best offensive tackle by PFF, Robinson’s expiring contract also offers flexibility as the team monitors Darrisaw’s recovery.
Reports suggest the Kansas City Chiefs were also in the mix for Robinson, potentially accelerating the Vikings’ decision to pull the trigger.
