On Tuesday night, two of the most successful and influential players in the NBA will go head-to-head once again in the NBA playoffs, with Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors set to do battle in San Francisco at the Chase Center in Game 1 of their second-round series.
Superstars LeBron James and Stephen Curry will put it all on the line yet again, but this time it will be in the Western Conference, with both players aspiring to reach the Western Conference Finals face the winner of the series between the Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets.
Both players have four titles and are looking to add to their legacy as future Hall of Famers by adding another title to their credit, but they’ve got to get past one another once again in the postseason, which will be must-see TV for basketball fans.
Here is a look at the first time Curry and James went head-to-head on the basketball back in 2009, with the Cleveland Cavaliers hosting the Warriors via NBA History Twitter account.

The NBA playoffs this year have been as entertaining as ever, and that entertainment factor will be taken to another level when this second-round playoff series gets underway on Tuesday night in San Francisco.
As expected, the defending NBA champions are favored to come out on top in this series, but James and his Lakers squad have defied the odds in the postseason thus far and won’t get bounced in the playoffs without a fight.
This series could go the distance and will almost certainly add to the legacies of these two players, who are already considered two of the best the NBA has ever seen.
