Last season was painful for the Brooklyn Nets and especially Kevin Durant.
The team suffered quite a few setbacks, in the form of injuries and team absences.
Not to mention the entire squad was shaken up by the major James Harden–Ben Simmons trade.
In the end, it was too much for the Nets and the team struggled to make the postseason and got swept by the Boston Celtics in the first round.
They ended up being the only team to be swept in the entire 2022 playoffs.

Since then, the drama has only been taken up a notch as Durant has reportedly demanded a trade from the Nets.
However, that doesn’t mean he isn’t staying in shape and preparing for the new season.
A new video shows him in the gym, working on his skills, perfecting his game, and keeping himself in amazing physical condition.
Durant looks ready.
Durant On The Floor
In the video, Durant is doing a lot of the usual moves you expect from him.
He dodges around opponents, makes his way into the paint for easy buckets, and even takes a few shots from beyond the three-point line.
Seeing Durant move up close makes him look even more impressive and helps you realize just how quick he can be.
It’s been said many times that he is all about basketball: apparently, it’s all he thinks about, all he does, all he wants to do.
That’s important because the future of his career looks really murky right now and no one is sure where Durant is headed.
Will the Nets make a deal to send him to the Miami Heat or Toronto Raptors or some other team?
Or will he remain in Brooklyn?
No matter where he lands, we know Durant will be eager to play.
