Obviously, one team that has been getting a lot of attention during this offseason is the Brooklyn Nets.
This is mostly due to the fact that both Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving may be on their way out the door, which would radically change the team and severely impair it for the season ahead.
While that is a big black cloud hanging over the team, there are other things about the Nets that are worth celebrating.
Nets additions to playoff rotation from last year: Ben Simmons, Joe Harris, TJ Warren and Royce O’Neal.
Nets losses to the playoff rotation: Bruce Brown and Drummond 🤢
Nets are a much better team than last year if they stay healthy and keep it together.

Brooklyn Netcast made a fair point: the team has actually improved a lot over the last year.
Over the last season, the squad has added Ben Simmons, Joe Harris, T.J. Warren, and Royce O’Neal.
They’ve also lost Bruce Brown and Andre Drummond.
Overall, the team can be very strong if it remains healthy and committed in the upcoming season.
However, do any of these additions matter if the two biggest subtractions are yet to come?

While the tweet above makes a good point and the Nets really have acquired some special talent over the season, it is still obvious that the team needs to know what comes next for Durant and Irving.
Even with Simmons, Harris, Warren, and others, the Nets will be impacted in a very negative way if they lose Durant and Irving.
It’s true that they will receive some great assets in their places but the loss will be felt.
However, it might not even come to that.
The Nets still can’t find a team that is willing to give them what they want so, as of now, both Durant and Irving are staying put in Brooklyn.
If they remain, the team really does have a whole lot of potential in the months ahead.
