The Miami Heat have done the seemingly impossible, with Jimmy Butler going from the Play-in Tournament all the way to the NBA Finals, with a historic run in these NBA playoffs.
Coming into Game 7 against the Boston Celtics at TD Garden on Monday night, the Heat had their backs against the wall, with many believing their magical run was over.
However, as per usual during this postseason, the Heat defied the odds once again and proceeded to blowout the Celtics on their home floor and, as a result, punched their ticket to the NBA Finals to face Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets.
Following a dominant performance in Game 7 in Boston, head coach Erik Spoelstra spoke to his team in the locker room and delivered an inspiring message via the team’s Twitter account.

Things won’t get any easier for the Heat as they head into the Finals to face arguably the best team in these playoffs, with the Nuggets not missing a beat during their postseason run.
Jokic and company weren’t given a lot of respect during these playoffs despite being the top seed in the Western Conference.
Even during the Western Conference Finals, all anyone could talk about was the Los Angeles Lakers and superstar forward LeBron James.
That disrespect seemed to fuel the Nuggets as it did for the Heat in the Eastern Conference.
It’ll be interesting to see how things pan out during the Finals, with both teams on a mission and not backing down an inch to their opponents up to this point in the postseason.
