The Arizona Cardinals are eliminated from playoff contention.
Moreover, they lost to one of the teams with the worst record in the league.
According to DB Jaycee Horn, the Cardinals overlooked them, with some players even calling them “trash” during the game.
That’s why the frustration was so evident at the end of the game.
As shown by Carolina Blitz on X, tight end Trey McBride was clearly livid after the loss.
“Sorry as f***,” McBride said.

McBride has had a strong season, but Kyler Murray seemingly refused to look for him in the endzone.
He didn’t get many plays drawn for him to reach the endzone.
Overall, this has been an up-and-down season for Jonathan Gannon’s team.
They looked competitive against some great teams and not so much against teams they could’ve and should’ve beaten.
Marvin Harrison Jr. has been far from what was expected, and while it happens sometimes with rookies, it is worrisome nonetheless.
The Cardinals still have some interesting weapons to build around, but there are doubts about whether Murray is the guy they need leading the way on offense.
They play in a very competitive division, even in a year when the San Francisco 49ers fell off a cliff, and that’s not going to change any time soon.
It’s nice to see that the players care and that this matters to them as much as it does to the fans.
Still, there doesn’t seem to be a clear path for this team to get much better than this; they may have peaked already.
