Front Office Sports tweeted, “The photographer shoved to the ground by Davante Adams after last night’s Monday Night Football game has officially filed a police report, per @TMZ_Sports.”
The article reports that the victim went to the authorities at around 10:30 PM to report the incident because he was a victim of assault.
While the damage is non-life threatening, the victim claimed that the injuries he suffered led to a hospital visit.
Adams apologized for that incident, saying, “Sorry to the guy I pushed over after the game. Obviously very frustrated at the way the game ended and when he ran in front of me as I exited that was my reaction and I felt horrible immediately. Thats not me..MY APOLOGIES man hope you see this.”
However, the damage has been done as detectives will coordinate with the appropriate prosecutors for any charges.
But aside from the authorities, the NFL may also give additional sanctions to Adams, ranging from a fine to missing games, or both.
A Great Day Gone Bad For Adams
The multiple-time First-Team All-Pro wideout had a fantastic performance against Kansas City with three receptions for 124 yards and two touchdowns.
However, his catch that could have set up a game-winning field goal was nullified.
Likewise, a failed two-point conversion after his second touchdown was the play that led to their fourth loss in five games.
His impressive numbers were for nothing as the Raiders now try to regroup during their bye in Week 6.
