Chris Bosh was a pivotal part of the Miami Heat for years and was one of the reasons why they won back-to-back championships.
Speaking on “The OGs Show,” via NBACentral, Heat legend Udonis Haslem said that Bosh wasn’t just important, he was downright essential.
Haslem went into detail about why Bosh was so crucial:
“If Bron went down, you could bring in D-Wade, and it’s not the same player, but you’re gonna get similar results. We couldn’t simulate it; we didn’t have another [Chris Bosh]. If [Bosh] went down and got hurt, we didn’t have another one of those.”
Udonis Haslem says Chris Bosh was more important than LeBron James during the Big 3 era

Haslem said LeBron James was obviously supremely important to the team but if he was injured, Dwyane Wade was able to pick up the slack and fill the void.
But when it came to Bosh, nobody else could do what he did.
He came to the Heat in 2010 and immediately started doing a lot of work for the team.
The combination of Bosh, Wade, and James created the most impressive big three in the league, one that is still historic and spoken about to this day.
They won the NBA Finals twice, in 2012 and again in 2013.
Bosh was still a monster on the court when he was sidelined from the league due to blood clot issues.
He was forced to retire when he was still scoring nearly 20 points per game but is still considered one of the greatest Heat players ever.
The truth is that the Heat had three of the best players in the league with Bosh, Wade, and James.
They were a trifecta of unparalleled NBA power and changed Heat history forever.
