The Miami Dolphins received good news as Tua Tagovailoa returned to full practice, shaking off the hip issue that was limiting him.
While the quarterback’s status is now clear for the Week 16 game against the San Francisco 49ers, questions linger about his primary playmakers heading into their final home game of the season.
“Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (wrist/personal) was limited in practice today and is now questionable for Sunday vs. San Francisco. WR Jaylen Waddle (knee) didn’t practice all week and is doubtful,” NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero wrote on X.

Hill’s week has been unpredictable, from missing early practices to full participation before scaling back to limited work.
Despite battling a nagging wrist injury all season, Hill hasn’t missed any games, though this week could test that perfect attendance.
Hill’s recent performance also reflects these health challenges. In Week 15 against the Houston Texans, he had just 36 yards on two catches as Miami’s offense struggled to find rhythm.
The situation looks even more concerning for Waddle, who was injured against Houston.
Beyond the receiving corps, the Dolphins are monitoring two key defensive pieces. Head coach Mike McDaniel remained tight-lipped about linebackers Cameron Goode and Bradley Chubb, who are approaching the end of their 21-day windows to return from the physically unable to perform (PUP) list.
Chubb managed limited practice sessions throughout the week, while Goode participated fully each day.
They each carry a questionable tag, with their availability potentially reshaping Miami’s defensive strategy.
