The Jacksonville Jaguars are one team entering the season with high expectations.
After shocking the NFL last year and making a run to the AFC divisional round, the Jags are expecting more this year.
It was their first season with Doug Pederson as head coach and he got the best out of quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
Lawrence took a major leap in year two and established himself as one of the best young quarterbacks in the league.
But Lawrence and the Jags will not be sneaking up on anyone this year.
That is why Lawrence is looking to take his play up a notch.
According to Jeremy Fowler via Dov Kleiman, Lawrence has added 6-7 pounds of muscle.
He has also refined his footwork and throwing mechanics.

Lawrence says doing so is an every year struggle thanks to a high metabolism.

It should not surprise anyone if Lawrence is even better in 2023.
He was one of the most hyped draft prospects when he was selected first overall in 2021.
It is looking like he is starting to live up to the hype.
Among many impressive stats last season, Lawrence finished seventh in NFL MVP voting.
He is still only 23 years old and has helped the Jaguars franchise make a fast turnaround.
The Jaguars have the roster in place to once again roll to success in the AFC South.
They are the favorites to win the division and should have no issues doing so.
It will be interesting to see if they can compete with the top teams in the conference.
The Kansas City Chiefs, Cincinnati Bengals, and Buffalo Bills have been the cream of the crop in recent years.
The Jaguars are hoping to put their name in that conversation.
