The San Francisco 49ers have arguably the best offensive lineman in the game.
But we all know how physical this game is, and anything can change in the blink of an eye.
That’s why, now that he’s 35 years old and could potentially win a Super Bowl ring, some speculate that this could be the end of the line for Trent Williams.
Nonetheless, the All-Pro LT isn’t thinking about that at all.
Talking ahead of the big game, the former Washington star confirmed that he thinks he still has at least a couple of years left in the tank (via 49ers on NBC Sports).
“I know I’m definitely in for the next couple years,” Williams said.

Despite his age, Williams hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down this season.
He did have to miss some games with injuries, but he came back as strong and dominant as ever shortly after.
We know Father Time is undefeated, and football is perhaps the most physical sport on Earth.
We also know the toll this game can take on a player’s body, especially an offensive lineman who’s been in the pros for over a decade.
Then again, we also know that Williams is no ordinary athlete, so he cannot be measured like the rest of mortals.
So, even if the Niners end up on top and win the whole thing on Sunday, it’s nice to know that they won’t have to worry about arguably their best player riding into the sunset and walking away as a champion.
He’ll look to run it back and be even better next season.
