Colorado head coach Deion Sanders hasn’t been shy about being involved in the pre-draft process for both Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter and making sure the two potential top-three picks land with the NFL organizations they desire.
There is going to be concern from some teams that Hunter may want to avoid them, and the likely Heisman Trophy winner recently made it sound as if he doesn’t want to play for one team in particular.
Hunter and Shedeur recently played a game of “Test Your Teammate,” and Hunter asked Shedeur Sanders who he thinks Hunter’s favorite NFL team is.
When the quarterback said it was the Jacksonville Jaguars, the two shared a hearty laugh.
“He don’t know me well,” Hunter said, via Justin M of The Draft Network.

The Jaguars are in the mix for a top-five pick in the 2025 NFL Draft and could have a chance to select the two-way star, and though this comment could ultimately mean very little, it’s not exactly a glowing endorsement for Jacksonville.
The two Colorado stars have very few red flags on the field, but one legitimate issue off the field involves Deion Sanders potentially angling for them to land with specific NFL teams, and though it’s unknown what those organizations could be, it doesn’t seem likely that the Jaguars will be on the list.
This isn’t something to get overly upset about if you’re a Jaguars fan, but it’s certainly something to file away for when draft season is in full swing.
