Tom Brady is, and will forever be remembered for his heroics on the football field.
Many consider him the best quarterback of all time, and given how many records he holds, and his seven Super Bowl titles, it’s hard to disagree with that analysis.
When it was announced that Brady would be joining FOX Sports as a color commentator, fans were excited to hear what the legendary QB would say in the booth.
His first season as a broadcaster has been filled with ups and downs, and he’s received mixed reviews thus far.
Fans were sure to make fun of him after a slip-up during the playoff game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers on Sunday, where he accidentally mixed up two Philadelphia-based teams.
As Awful Announcing highlighted on X, “I think this call by the Phillies. Excuse me, by Philly,” Brady said.

While this was just an honest slip of the tongue, one that anyone might make, Brady is being examined under a microscope by fans.
They hold him to a high standard, and any mistakes have been scrutinized throughout the year.
It will be interesting to see what Brady’s future holds as a broadcaster, and how he’ll grow and develop in this craft over the next several years.
He’s not going anywhere soon given his massive contract, so he’ll likely take the offseason to study his tape and get better in time, just like he did during his historic NFL career.
