It’s the dawn of a new era for the Tennessee Titans, as new QB Will Levis officially has chosen his number.
According to their social media team, the Kentucky product will wear No. 8 in his rookie season, but whether we’ll see him take the field or not remains to be seen.

For now, the Titans expect Ryan Tannehill to be QB1, and HC Mike Vrabel has repeatedly stated that he wants the veteran to stay with the team for a little longer.
But Tannehill has been radio silent about his future with the team, and even though a trade seems unlikely at this point, we’ve seen that kind of thing happen over and over.
Levis is far from a finished product, though, so he would most definitely benefit from a year or two on the sidelines while he learns the ropes of the NFL and gets to work behind a veteran.
Throwing a young QB into the mix too early when he’s not prepared yet could backfire tremendously and cost him his career, and that’s not a position the Titans want to be put in.
Notably, this also makes Malik Willis the odd man out in this roster, as the team has reportedly lost faith in him after he entered the league with high praise.
Some believe they might even decide to cut Willis, as they’re not the kind of team that usually has three quarterbacks on its 53-man roster.
That, of course, granted they like what they see from Levis early on.
