The Minnesota Timberwolves have been in a very interesting and complicated situation this season.
They are the top team in the Western Conference with a 43-19 record.
Despite that, it seems that many people don’t feel they are a strong top seed because of their youth and inexperience in the playoffs.
Speaking to Dane Moore, via Legion Hoops, Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch opened up about how the league feels about his team – and how his team feels about the league.
“I’m not sure anyone in the league fears us,” Finch said, before adding, “I don’t think we really fear anyone, either.”

Any time a team is the best in a conference they are going to be feared by others.
And, sure enough, the Timberwolves have had some impressive wins against teams and have proven that they should be taken seriously.
With that being said, there is still uncertainty about a team like the Timberwolves because they haven’t found much postseason success over the last several years.
Until they are able to do that, others won’t be completely fearful of them.
The same is true for the Oklahoma City Thunder, who are constantly battling with Minnesota for the top seed in the West.
Just last season, the Denver Nuggets were in a similar situation because some people weren’t sure they had what it took to go all the way.
They did, obviously, and now there are no doubts about that team.
If the Timberwolves are able to make a strong run in the postseason this year, then just about every other team in the league will be afraid of them.
As for Minnesota, they would be wise to remain unafraid of the competition.
