Despite the problems he has had this season, Klay Thompson will be one of the top NBA free agents available this summer.

According to Legion Hoops, the inquiries found that the NBA execs believe Thompson is worth up to $20-25 million a year.

A few executives valued Thompson a bit lower, but they still said that he’d bring in about $18-20 million a year even in a worst-case scenario.
But they claimed that Thompson will think he is worth more than that and won’t take a low-end deal.
It is clear that many people think Thompson will still receive a ton of cash in his upcoming contract, even though this season has seen him post career lows across the board.
The big question is where he will be playing at this point next year.
Will he receive an extension from the Golden State Warriors, the only team he has ever played for?
And if he does, will his numbers improve and will he return to the starting lineup of the team?
Or will Thompson try his luck with a different team in the league?
For years, it seemed that Thompson would play alongside his Splash Brother, Stephen Curry, until they both retired.
However, the recent troubles of Thompson and the team have made that less likely.
The Warriors recently signed a new deal with head coach Steve Kerr, suggesting that they want to ride it out with this current group for the foreseeable future.
But there are still many questions swirling around Thompson related to his skills, his future in Golden State, and how much money he will earn.
