The Golden State Warriors cannot seem to catch a break this season.
For the majority of the campaign, the Warriors undoubtedly struggled to find their identity in the league as they failed to win games consistently.
However, the Warriors finally found a reliable starting lineup, with Stephen Curry leading the charge for the team as expected.
As a result, the Warriors climbed several spots in the Western Conference standings, but the team’s momentum has unarguably been halted following their recent loss against the Chicago Bulls.
A key reason behind the Warriors being in doubt over the remainder of the season is due to Stephen Curry suffering an ankle injury during the fourth quarter.
Although there is no official word on how long Stephen Curry will be sidelined, Draymond Green’s recent comments about his longtime teammate have many people concerned, as revealed via Anthony Slater on Twitter.
“No one is Steph Curry. That definitely will change things. But we know the sets that we like to get to with Chris (Paul) in the game and what he is great at,” Green said.

Green’s comments indicate that Curry could miss some significant time.
Chris Paul is no longer the star he once was, but he is more than capable of fulfilling the point guard duties until Curry returns to the roster.
The Warriors are currently the 9th seed in the West with a 33-29 record.
