We may be on the verge of the radical transformation of the New Orleans Pelicans.
The team could be willing to send away multiple big stars before the upcoming trade deadline, as they are struggling more than they have in years.
One of the players who could leave New Orleans is CJ McCollum.
According to BetOnline, via Legion Hoops, the Milwaukee Bucks are the heavy favorites to land McCollum in a trade, which means the Bucks could reunite McCollum with his former Portland Trail Blazers teammate, Damian Lillard.

McCollum came to the Pelicans during the 2021-22 season.
Since joining the team, he has averaged 21.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 5.2 assists.
It seemed like the Pelicans were really committed to McCollum, but this troubled season is making them reassess their plans with just about everyone.
They have an abysmal record of 5-22 and are the worst team in the Western Conference.
The Pelicans would have loved to keep all of their star players, but now they are thinking of shipping away anyone, including Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram.
McCollum loved playing with Lillard in Portland and the two struck up a deep friendship.
Bringing him to Milwaukee could help the team perform better, but it would also make Lillard happier.
It seems like it could be a great choice for the Bucks, as long as the price is right.
This season’s troubles have led to a serious crisis in New Orleans, but it also might lead to a great NBA reunion soon.
