After he had been the head coach of the Toronto Raptors for the last five seasons, Nick Nurse was fired recently.
It has left the Raptors, a team that possesses plenty of intriguing young talent, without a head coach.
According to Shams Charania, they will be interviewing David Adelman, who has been an assistant with the Denver Nuggets for the last six years.

Adelman is the son of Rick Adelman, who was a longtime head coach in the NBA, most notably with the Portland Trail Blazers and Sacramento Kings.
The younger Adelman started out as a player development coach under his father with the Minnesota Timberwolves, and under head coach Michael Malone in Denver, he has worked with two-time league MVP Nikola Jokic as the team’s lead assistant.
The Nuggets are currently in the Western Conference semifinals, and as of this writing, they hold a 2-1 lead over the Phoenix Suns and are looking to go up 3-1 with a win in Game 4.
They finished with the best record in the Western Conference during the regular season and may have their best shot ever at reaching the NBA Finals for the first time.
Toronto lost in the play-in tournament a few weeks ago to the Chicago Bulls, but with studs such as Pascal Siakam, OG Anunoby, and Scottie Barnes, they have some hope for the immediate future.
Perhaps the right coach can unlock their potential and get them back into the NBA Playoffs while perhaps giving them a shot at pulling off an upset there.NEXT: DeMar DeRozan Reveals His Thoughts About Raptors 2019 Championship
