The Texas Rangers have been a revelation early on this season.
After they added some key pitching reinforcements, they became a force to be reckoned with.
But it’s not just their pitching that has them at the top of the American League West.
Their offense has produced quite well.
The team is 37-20 through their first 57 games of the year and have a run differential of +143.
With that mark, the Rangers are at the top of an elite list of teams with the highest run differentials through their first 57 games of the season.
They also find themselves in company with teams such as the 2016 Chicago Cubs (+142), 1974 Los Angeles Dodgers (+140), 1976 Cincinnati Reds (+133), and 1953 New York Yankees (+132).

These are some elite teams that the Rangers are in company with.
Not counting the Rangers, all but one of the other teams listed ended up winning the World Series in their respective years.
The Dodgers lost the World Series to the Oakland Athletics in 1974.
But the Rangers have been completely dominating their opponents and now find themselves at the top of a historic and elite list.
They lead the AL West division by 2.5 games over the defending World Series champion Houston Astros and have won eight of their last 10 games.
Their 37-20 record is the second-best in the American League and all of baseball.
They are two games behind the 41-19 Tampa Bay Rays for the best record.
The Rangers have been a force early on this season and will look to continue at this historic pace.
