Because of the incredible season he’s had, a lot of attention has been paid to Bojan Bogdanovic of the Detroit Pistons and his future plans in the league.
There are many teams throughout the NBA who would move a lot of money and many assets in order to land the star.
He has been a trade target to watch, especially as the upcoming deadline approaches.
But there have been conflicting reports coming from inside the Pistons’ front office: will they trade him or will they keep him around and build around him?
The Pistons would refuse to trade Bojan Bogdanović even if offered that fully unprotected future first-round pick, per @TheSteinLine

It sounds like they are electing to hold onto the star player.
Marc Stein reported that the Pistons would refuse to trade away Bogdanovic even if they were offered fully unprotected future first-round draft picks.
For weeks now, we have heard that the Pistons wanted a first-rounder for Bogdanovic and would accept nothing less than that.
That was a high asking price yet teams were still likely to agree to it.
But now it seems like Detroit won’t part with their sharpshooting star even if they get that coveted pick.
Can you really blame them?
Bogdanovic is averaging 21.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.7 assists a game this season on 48.7% from the field.
He has been surging throughout 2022-23, his first year in the Motor City.
Despite the dismal record they hold, the Pistons have a lot of young talent and could be serious contenders in a few years if they do things correctly.
Perhaps the team’s front office sees Bogdanovic as a crucial part of that plan.
He can be the knowledgable, experienced core at the center of the team, surrounded by up-and-coming talent.
Or perhaps they are just trying to drive a hard bargain and receive everything they want before the deadline?
