With a painfully low 13-39 record, the Detroit Pistons are easily one of the worst teams in the NBA right now.
That means that the franchise could be facing some huge changes in the weeks and months ahead.
Even though they publicly say they believe in their young group of athletes and think there is a strong future with them, they are surely making deals behind the scenes.

One of the players who may be leaving Detroit in the near future is Saddiq Bey, the celebrated forward who is averaging 14.6 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists a game.
Ian Begley is reporting that the New York Knicks have recently talked about and shown interest in acquiring Bey.
Bey is in only his third season and has shown a lot of skill and potential during those three years.
You can’t blame the Knicks for thinking about nabbing him through a trade.
But since Bey has become an important part of the Pistons’ lineup, they surely wouldn’t give him up for just anything.
You can expect the Pistons to drive a hard bargain when it comes to Bey and practically any other player they put on the market.
For example, there has been a lot of speculation on Bojan Bogdanovic, who is having one of his best seasons ever.
But Detroit is demanding at least a first-round draft pick for that player and they will similarly want a lot for Bey or anyone else on their squad.
The Knicks are looking to make some tweaks to their team and they might be willing to offer a lot in order to do so.
How much will they give Detroit in return for Bey?
