The top of the NBA Western Conference hasn’t really changed much over the last few weeks.
The Denver Nuggets are the best team in their conference with a commanding 46-19 record, seven games ahead of the second-place Memphis Grizzlies.
However, further down in the standings, things have gotten much tighter.
ProCity Hoops tweeted an amazing fact that will have NBA fans excited for the next few weeks: the 9-12 seeds in the West have the exact same record.

The Utah Jazz, Portland Trail Blazers, Los Angeles Lakers, and New Orleans Pelicans are all sitting at exactly 31-34.
These teams are battling it out for a spot in the play-in tournament, which starts in just a few weeks.
The rules of the play-in games state that teams seven through ten will play against each other.
The winners of these games will become the seventh and eighth seeds in the first round of the postseason.
Right now, the Dallas Mavericks are the seventh seed while the Los Angeles Clippers are eighth.
What is going to happen over the next few weeks?
Will any of these teams go on a winning streak and climb up the standings?
Or will we be looking at this exact same lineup when the play-in rolls around?
There are many people who have critiqued the play-in tournament but it certainly adds a lot of interest and excitement around this time of year as teams attempt to secure wins and qualify for it.
Expect all eyes to be on these four teams as the postseason rapidly approaches.
A lot is riding on each and every win and loss.
