This season, the Detroit Lions have a record of 5-7.
But that does not tell us half the story of this Lions squad, especially their offense.
This week, they faced the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Lions won this game, 40-14.
But in this win, the Lions did something that had not been done for four years.
Lions has 8 possessions (other than taking a knee) Sunday.
Lions scored on ALL 8 possessions.
No @NFL team had scored on every possession in a regular season game in 4 years.@NFLResearch

They scored on every possession their offense had.
A Score On Every Drive
The Lions opening scores came from touchdowns from Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jamal Williams.
St. Brown would score his second touchdown late in the fourth quarter, from a four-yard pass from Lions quarterback Jared Goff.
D’Andre Swift was the scorer of the other Lions touchdown.
The rest of the Lions’ points came from the boot of their kicker.
His four successful kicks, the longest one coming from 47 yards, cemented the Lions’ victory over the Jaguars.
This is another dominant offensive performance from the Lions, that has come in a season of many strong performances from Goff and company.
Scoring on every possession a team has is a remarkable statistic.
This is the first time it has happened in a regular season game since 2018.
However, it has happened recently in a playoff game, with the Buffalo Bills scoring a touchdown on every drive during their victory over the New England Patriots in last season’s AFC Wild Card matchup.
This is a remarkable feat and only shows us how strong this team is.
