The Los Angeles Lakers have been very busy over the last 24 hours and they might not be done yet.
They were part of a big three-team deal on Wednesday that landed them D’Angelo Russell, Malik Beasley, and Jarred Vanderbilt in exchange for Russell Westbrook.
With just hours to go before the NBA trade deadline, the Lakers are still working the phones.

The Lakers surprised their fans when it was announced that they were trading big man Thomas Bryant to the Denver Nuggets for Davon Reed.
In addition to Reed, LA is also receiving three second-round draft picks.
The loss of Bryant was a bit of a shock because he has been doing quite well with his new squad.
He has only played for the Lakers for a few months but during that time he has come into his own and had a strong presence on the floor.
He has averaged 12.1 points and 6.8 assists a game on 65.4% from the field.
Bryant was a huge help to the team during Anthony Davis’ absence and he really stepped up so some wonder why he is leaving when Davis has a tendency to get injured.
There is speculation that general manager Rob Pelinka saw the Bryant trade as a way to get a better deal in the near future.
Perhaps he will flip the three draft picks for a bigger target that’ll be added later on Thursday.
Bryant surely isn’t leaving the Lakers because he didn’t fit in.
In fact, quite the opposite was true and it looked like he was going to have a bright future in LA.
Bryant’s time with the Lakers has been good to him and he now joins the Nuggets as a promising young big man.
