It’s all over for the New York Knicks.
Fans of the team had some very high hopes for this season, following the surprisingly impressive way they played last year.
But right from the beginning, things seemed off for the Knicks and it quickly became apparent that the squad was struggling.
This season has been filled with a few ups and many, many downs for New York – but now it’s all over.

The team is now officially eliminated from playoff contention and their season will conclude in just a few days.
New York will have an extra-long summer this year and you can bet it’ll be quite an explosive one too.
No More Knicks
It might be hard to remember but the Knicks ended last season as the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference.
That’s right, they easily slid into the playoffs last year.
This year, that simply wasn’t the case.
A large part of the team’s struggles are because of star player, Julius Randle, who won Most Improved Player of the Year last season.
However, he wasn’t at that same level this year.
While his 20.1 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 5.1 assists a game doesn’t look too bad on paper, the young star looked like a shell of his former self.
There were other problems too, like lineup issues, absences, and head coach Tom Thibodeau seemingly confused about which direction to take the team.
Recently, there have been rumors that the offseason will feature a lot of trades and a complete overhaul of the team.
Randle’s days in New York may be over and the same is true for Thibodeau.
This was one of the most disappointing seasons in Knicks’ history – and that’s saying something.
