It doesn’t take a genius to see that things aren’t going well for the New York Knicks.
The team is currently at 11th place in the East with a painful 34-42 record.
This comes just one season after the team sat in fourth place at the start of the playoffs.
Part of the team’s problem revolves around Julius Randle, who is not playing at the same level he did last year.
And apparently, things are getting pretty bad for Randle and the team behind the scenes.
Some people around the league believe Julius Randle could force his way to a new team in a “James Harden type of way,” per @NYPost_Berman

It is being reported that there are some in the league who think Randle might force his way onto another team in a “James Harden type of way.”
Apparently, things are so bad with Randle and his team that he is dressing by himself in a separate area of the locker room.
So is this the end of Randle in New York?
Fall From Grace
Things have been bad all over for the Knicks this year, it’s not just Randle who has been struggling.
However, Randle’s problems have been impossible to ignore.
The big man was named the NBA’s Most Improved Player for the 2020-21 season with an average of 24.1 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 6 assists.
This year, he’s putting up 20.1 points, 10 rebounds, and 5.1 assists.
That doesn’t look like a major change but Randle’s troubles are obvious when you watch him play.
He is lacking the same power, drive, and enthusiasm on the floor.
These problems, along with all the others plaguing the Knicks, have led to the team’s collapse.
Fans of the team are crying out for the front office to do something – anything – to turn it all around.
You can expect that perhaps a few players – and staff members – will be sent away during the offseason.
