The New York Giants are still not getting enough respect despite having a 5-1 record.
In fact, they are the first team in a century to overcome double-digit second-half deficits in three of their first six games.
Those victories make them the favorable underdog even if they are tied with the second-best record in the league.
Even if they have been widely successful through Week 6, the Giants are still underdogs in their Week 7 matchup.

ESPN NFL Nation reporter Jordan Raanan tweeted, “The 5-1 Giants are currently 3-point underdogs on Sunday in Jacksonville, per @CaesarsSports. The Jaguars are 2-4.”
He said this in reply to Saquon Barkley saying that he doesn’t care about being underdogs and feels that they are a great team.
The Giants scored another come-from-behind victory in Week 6 against the Baltimore Ravens.
The Ravens led by as much as ten points, 20-10, before New York ended up scoring two touchdowns in five minutes to settle the final score, 24-20.
They also overcame a 20-10 deficit by going on a 14-2 fourth-quarter run against the Green Bay Packers in Week 5.
Green Bay’s two points even come with an asterisk because of an intentional safety.
Yet the Giants remain underdogs despite these comebacks.
Meanwhile, the Giants’ first come-from-behind win in 2022 was their season opener against the Tennessee Titans.
The Titans led, 13-0, before the Giants dominated the second half, 21-7.
Barkley On The Run
Head coach Brian Daboll was able to devise a system that played to their strengths.
That scheme features Barkley getting several opportunities to keep the ball moving.
Once the running game is established, they will run more play-action calls with quarterback Daniel Jones.
Jones’ scrambling ability adds unpredictability to the Giants offense.
Therefore, those who are looking for quick money can bet on the Giants.
