The Boston Celtics are not only the best team in the East but they are technically the best team in the entire NBA with a 22-7 record.
That means that they are obviously doing quite well and some would assume they don’t need any sort of help.
But they have been desperately awaiting the return of a pivotal player who has been out all season long.
He’s about to be back.
Boston Celtics center Robert Williams is planning to make his season’s debut vs. Orlando on Friday, sources tell ESPN. Team upgraded him to questionable for game.

Celtics center Robert Williams is planning to come back to the court on Friday night, as the Celtics take on the Orlando Magic.
After weeks of waiting, Williams was listed as questionable by the team and the plan is that he will finally get minutes again, as long as he feels ready on Friday evening.
What will the Celtics get with Williams back in his green jersey?
The Return Of Williams
Williams underwent knee surgery in September to remove damage to that part of his body and to address serious swelling.
It was actually the second surgery on Williams’ knee this year, as he had undergone a partial left knee meniscectomy in March.
When Williams is healthy, he is a huge part of the team’s defense.
He averaged 10 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks last year for Boston and was shining bright, especially as the team made a strong playoff run.
Since he has been out, the team has leaned heavily on vets Blake Griffin and Al Horford.
But the goal was always to turn Williams back into a permanent frontcourt fixture when he was healthy.
It sounds like that time has come and fans of the team couldn’t be more excited.
The Celtics are always superior to every other team but their defense may be on the verge of getting even better.
